Emily is a professional photographer with a passion for capturing fleeting moments, beautiful natural light, and the subtle details that bring a scene to life. With a background in landscapes, seascapes, lifestyle photography, and visual storytelling, she brings over a decade of experience and a unique eye for emotion, colour, and movement. In the upcoming weekend workshop in Brighton, Emily will guide participants through the vibrant streets, shoreline, and hidden corners of beautiful Brighton, focusing on shutter speed creativity, bold colours, strong lines, and the art of observing and capturing real-life characters and spontaneous scenes. The sessions are designed to help photographers see differently, embrace natural light, and develop confidence in composing striking, story-driven images.

Janina is an award-winning educator and multiple exposure specialist and loves the vibrant coastal city of Brighton. Known for her ability to capture the character, shapes, and colours of architecture, Janina also brings a signature warmth to her work by blending in the rich hues of sunsets and sunrises. Whether you're completely new to multiple exposure or looking to expand your creative toolkit, Janina will guide participants through a series of techniques, including 180-degree rotation and ICM crosshatching. These methods are powerful tools for artistic self-expression and will help you unlock a new way of seeing the world around you. Throughout the weekend, Janina will lead you through the visualisation process, helping you turn imaginative ideas into unique and thought-provoking images.

No prior experience of multiple exposure is necessary, and if your camera doesn't support multiple exposure, a compatible one will be available to borrow. All you need is your enthusiasm and a willingness to explore!

This workshop offers a supportive and inspiring space for photographers, to explore, learn, and grow creatively under Emily and Janina’s thoughtful guidance.
