Manchester - In Camera Multiple Exposure Photography Workshop (All abilities)
This workshop would suit anyone who wants to learn what they can create with the camera multiple exposure function of their camera. If you have ever wanted to explore creative architecture photography , or learn how to compose creative images without lots of software input - this is for you!
Due to the amount of models out there I cannot take responsibility for if your camera will do multiple exposure images, you will need to find this out for yourself. Most camera brands (with the notable exception of recent Sony models) do some form of in camera multiple exposure. I suggest that if you don’t know if your camera does or not that you simply google the brand and multiple exposure settings. It doesn’t matter, however, how many images it takes or how many blend modes there are, you can learn all the creative techniques on this workshop!
Due to the nature of the city and wanting to deliver quality instruction I will be limiting this workshop to 5 participants.
Dates Available:
Saturday 24th May
Sunday 13th July
Saturday 30th August
Architecture - meeting at 12pm, we will discover the area around Manchester Central Library where we will look at multiple exposures of people and architecture and, of course the trams. There are lots of different styles of buildings for us to shoot including arches which can be great for repetition and Manchester Central Convention Complex is great for turning your camera over by 180 degrees.
Canals - After this (and some coffee!) we will walk along the river looking at how reflections can be used in in camera multiple exposure as we walk along the canal and have a go at some ICM combinations with some of the more modern buildings. We will finish back at the library at 6pm.
We will also have a follow up date (tbc) online where we can share our processed images and we can all give feedback on the images.
